How Zephanto collects, uses and protects your information when you use our website and services.

Last updated: 30 September 2026

01Who we are

Zephanto ("Zephanto", "we", "us") is a software engineering company. This policy explains what personal data we collect through zephanto.com and in the course of providing our services, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By using our website or engaging our services you agree to the practices described here.

02Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, work email, company name, phone number and anything you write in a contact, careers or newsletter form. Information collected automatically: your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring site and the language and theme you select. We store your language and theme preference in your browser so the site remembers them. Information from clients: when you engage us for a project, we process the business data you share with us solely to deliver that project.

03How we use it

We use personal data to respond to your enquiries, prepare proposals, deliver and support our services, send the newsletter you asked for, improve our website, keep it secure and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making that has legal effects on you.

05Sharing and processors

We share personal data only with service providers who help us operate, such as hosting, email delivery and analytics providers, under contracts that require them to protect it. We may also disclose data when the law requires it or to protect our rights. Client data is never shared with third parties without the client’s instruction.

06International transfers

Our team and providers may be located in different countries, including Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, the European Union and the United States. Where data crosses borders we use appropriate safeguards, such as contractual protections, to keep it secure.

07Retention

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and follow up, typically no longer than 24 months. Client project data is retained for the duration of the engagement plus any period required for warranty, accounting or legal purposes. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

08Security

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, access controls, secure development practices and regular reviews. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify you of a breach affecting your data where the law requires it.

09Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email. To exercise any right, contact us at the address below; we will respond within 30 days.

10Cookies

Our website uses only essential browser storage to remember your language and theme preferences. We do not set advertising cookies. If we add analytics cookies in the future we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Material changes will be highlighted on this page, and continued use of our website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
